Governance – Governing Council

He is basically an Electrical Engineer and he is a well known philanthropist, he encourages poor students for pursuing their education. He is the Managing Partner of M/S. Vijaya Enterprises and Chairman of Nalanda Educational Trust.

Mr. B.K. Ramakrishna – Vice Chairman

An young and successful Industrialist. He is a textile engineer. He acquired his B.E. degree in Textile Engineering. He is the Managing Director of M/s. Viswas Textiles, M/S. AZURE and ,M/S. Rhitham Exports, a leading textile industry in Bangalore. Adopted modern technology in all his Textile units. He is the Vice chairman of Nalanda Educational Trust.

Mr. Mahantesh B. Nelavigi – Managing Director

He acquired his MBA post graduation from Cardiff University Wales, London. He hails from the background of running educational institutions. An young and energetic entrepreneur also a Managing Partner in M/s. Vijaya Enterprises. He is the Managing Director of Nalanda Educational Trust.

Mr. S. Shirdish – Chief Executive Officer

He is a retired Deputy General Manager from State Bank of Mysore. He is having vast experience in various areas of Banking viz., Administration, Forex, Credit Management, Marketing Teaching and H R management. Some of the important assignments handled by him in the Banking industry are Branch Head, Regional Head, Head of H R department, Head of Corporate Credit branch and Controller of Retail Banking of the Bank etc., Considering his exceptional performance as regional Head, he was deputed to Kellogg School of Management, Chicago, USA.

He is the CEO of International Academy of Management & Entrepreneurship.

Dr. Rudresh – M.D of M/S. Vijaya Metal Finishers

He secured his Master of Science (Chemistry) during 1977 and Bangalore University awarded PhD during 1981. He was in teaching profession as a professor before starting his career as an Industrialist. Presently, he is the Managing Director M/S. Vijaya Metal Finishers Bangalore. The industry is engaged in metal finishing, supplying Aerospace components to AIRBUS, BOEING , UTAS, PRATT and WHITLEY, etc. It is the first private sector industry to obtain AS9100 Specification and first to have NADCAP approval for processing international Aerospace component. He is also Managing partner of M/S. Shrusti Innovations, M/s. Space Spectrum, M/S. Vijaya Innovative Technologies. He involved in many green initiatives and practicing sustainability measures like eco friendly processing in the metal finishing and working on alternative building material to save energy and environment. He is member of PIA, KASSIA,FKCCI.

Dr. H.B. Phaniraju – Principal, Shridevi Institute of Technology, Tumkur

He is a retired Professor and Principal of a reputed Engineering College. He has a Master degree in Engineering ME (Electrical) and he has also who had ME in electrical engineering and also secured PhD from UVCE for his thesis on Electrical Engineering. He also served as principal in P.I Engineering College, ACS College of Engineering and Shridevi Institute of Technology. He also served as Secretary in the Institute of Engineers in their Bangalore Chapter.

Dr. K Lakshmisha – Director

He is an experienced banker, retired as General Manger from State Bank of Mysore and he was also an Independent Director on the Board of the Bank – State Bank of Mysore after his retirement during 2015. He acquired his Bachelors Degree in Commerce from University of Mysore during 1973. To improve his acumen in banking career he secured additional qualifications viz., M.Com, MBA, LLB, CAIIB, CA, AMIBM, PGDFM, PGDHRM, PhD (UK). He also completed several Certification courses from Indian Institute of Bankers like FOREX, Industrial Finance, and Agricultural etc. He worked in three Associate Banks of SBI i.e. SBM, SBH and SBT. Some of the important assignments held by him are DGM (BPR), Zonal Head of SBH – Maharashtra zone, Zonal Head of SBT – Chennai (TN), Head of Industrial Finance Branches of Hyderabad and Bangalore & Commercial Branch Bangalore. After completing four decades of service in Banking, retired as a General Manager & Group Head – (Priority Sector, Retail Banking, Rural Banking, FI and Planning and development) of State Bank of Mysore. He has undergone training -“Leadership Development for Corporate Excellence” in Kellogg School of Management, Chicago, USA. The Aryabhata Cultural Organization (R) has awarded him “ Aryabhata International Award in Banking” for the year 2015.

Mrs. Dr. M. K. Kokila – Professor, Dept of Physics, Bangalore University – University Nominee

She is a Professor in the PG Dept of Physics Bangalore University, she has acquired PhD in the field of physics. She is having 36 years of experience in field of Education and research. She is the University Nominee appointed by the Bangalore University.
